Like if I was to say that I hardly use the stuff I buy at the store. This is my first appointment ever, 16yrs old, what do most derms give you?Whats the chances of my dermatologist perscribing Oral medication vs. aboral medications?
Most will give you a topical combination antibiotic or something with sulfur in it.
Something oral, such as accutane, is more serious b/c of the risk of depression and suicide, and if one gets pregnant while taking accutane the baby will be deformed.
The Dr will most likely give you a topical cream
