What should my major in college be to be a dermatologist? ?

I am interested in being a dermatologist but I'm not sure about what to major in. I'm home schooled so I don't have a counselor to help me. What needs to be my major and are there any colleges that are especially good for those seeking careers in dermatology? What should my major in college be to be a dermatologist? ?

Since a dermatologist is a type of doctor, you'll want to pick a major that will get you in to medical school. Most universities have a pre-med ';track,'; which lists the coursework you will need to need to take in order to get in/be successful at medical school. In theory you can pick any major, but all of my friends in medical school were either biology or chemistry majors.
