What to expect when seeing a dermatologist ?

I've got an appointment to see a dermatologist for my acne im 15 so i don't really know what to expect ?What to expect when seeing a dermatologist ?
He'll ask you about your general health, allergies to medications, how long you've had the problem, what have u already tried in order to treat it, and then he'll examine your skin. Some skin docs examine just the area that has the problem; others might do a total skin exam, looking for any other skin problems,such as a suspicious mole. You certainly have the option to refuse that,if it's offered. Then, based upon what he has found, he'll give you prescriptions for your acne that he feels are best for your skin type and your type of acne.
