Dermatologist?

I would like to know if you can get rid of skin discolorations. For instance my moms forehead has gotten really dark and they say it may be due to all the medication she takes. Another area is skin discoloration in the under arm area. Really don't know when it started but It's been like that since I was in my early teens and haven't been able to get rid of it. Its been like 15yrs now.Dermatologist?
Depending on what's causing the discoloration, they would probably give you a skin bleaching cream.
