What exactly happens when you visit a dermatologist? What usually happens? How much does it cost?

I feel like i need to visit a dermatologist, but im not sure what to expect. Can someone tell me what usually happens when you go there? What exactly happens when you visit a dermatologist? What usually happens? How much does it cost?
Well, everyone goes to a dermatologist for different reasons. I began going about once a year after I turned 32 or so. Usually I have these tiny little red bumps removed, or other small spots caused by too much California sun when I was growing up. Sometimes I buy excellent products he has for sale - for skin repair and maintenance.

It's all about skin and helping you to look the best you can. Going to a dermatologist is not bad and not painful - and always gives fairly amazing results. What exactly happens when you visit a dermatologist? What usually happens? How much does it cost?
the dermatologist is really nothing! ive been to the dermatologist and all they do is talk about the right medicine for your face so that you won't have as many acne brakeouts. my medicine usually costs around 30.00. hope that answers ur question!
Dont hesitate to go to Dermatologist (Skin Specialist ) For sure there r better medicines now than was years back. You have dermato cosmetologists now who would help you to look gud. If you are in USA you can search a dermat near you on www.aad.org
you make your appointment and your first time you go in and they might weigh you but nothing more not like a physical.. after you just tell him what you're problems are.. you're side effects.. stuff you've taken to solve the problem.. and medicines you're currently on.. the doctor will handle it from there.. it really is no big deal and the doctors are usually really nice.. plus they've heard pretty much about any possible problem you could think of so don't be embarassed at all.. and the cost depends on your insurance.. you might have to do a co-pay but it's basically the same as your regular doctor visits.. or slightly more because he's a specialist.. once you get the medicines also.. never stop taking them and take them right for the best results.. you'll be happy you went after..

goood luck!
