I saw a dermatologist for the first time this week and he put me on benzaclin. The first night I put it on and the next morni my cheeks and forehead were all red and itchy, felt like my face was sunburned. So I called him and He told me to stop using it and that he would give someting else to try in 3 days. What do you think he would give me.What would my dermatologist put me on since I had a bad reaction to benzaclin?
There are a lot of other options. Retin-A is one. Don't worry.
I'm not sure where he will go from there. It will probably be another topical. It sounds like he is working up from the least invasive for lack of a better word.
