Can someone tell me more about the life of a dermatologist as in how stressful it is and the kinds of problems faced by a dermatologist?How is the life of a dermatologist?
I would say that it would be pretty gross because they have to deal with scary-looking things on skin. I wouldn't want to touch that stuff.

It's not that stressful.
You see patients with skin conditions that may or may not fit any pattern you saw in Residency and you attempt to find the root of the problem and provide a treatment program.
One big problem is Dermatologists are like Shrinks, they make you come back over two weeks to see what has happened and these days that's a $25-$125 payment for the patient, who gets tired of it quickly unless their insurnace covers it.
You get to caress some skin. =)
