Well it was a rash on my arms but I think it would be the same thing. A dermatologist is a specialist so it depends on your insurance if you have any. I had to pay $80 with this crap and the co-pays going up.
Why don't you go to your Personal Doctor. They will know and he/she is cheaper than a dermatologist. They will also know exactly how to treat them. Dermatologists are specialist, therefore, cost you more. Doctors know about things like that though, too.
I hate to answer with a question, but how much would you pay to see and smell other complete stranger's genitals? Take that number and multiple it by 100, which is at least the number of times the doctor had to do the exam for free while in training for 10 years, and then you will come close to the dollar figure the dermatologist should charge.


How much does your mechanic charge per hour? How about your plumber? Interesting that they went to vocational school. Your dermatologist had at least 8 years of training AFTER college. And what they do can save your life. It's not fair, but someone has to look at these problems and I, as a dermatologist have given my life to such a task. And you have the audacity to ask me what is a fair charge????
