If I study biotechnology, will that help with becoming a dermatologist?

I'm still a little confused as to why/how studying biotechnology will help with becoming a dermatologist, if it helps at all. Does it?If I study biotechnology, will that help with becoming a dermatologist?

It could and would help. But I think that's all more of a doctor's or a forensics's scientist's job. Dermatologist don't really need that stuff but it's a good idea to have just in case.
