How much would a dermatologist appointment cost out of pocket who doesn't have insurance?

I have mild (but annoying) acne and I am almost 21, so its becoming increasingly a problem for me. I want to see a dermatologist but I am hesitant because only severe acne is covered by my university's meager insurance plan so I'll most likely be paying out of pocket for the appointment and treatment. What kind of costs could I be expecting to pay?How much would a dermatologist appointment cost out of pocket who doesn't have insurance?
I would guess about $100 but most doctors will let you make payments. When I was in between jobs once I paid a optomotrist $20 a month to pay off a $160 eye appointment when I didn't have insurance.

That being said, I've tried Proactive and Acne Free (Acne Free is a brand you will find at walmart/walgreens). I've never had severe acne, just a little here and there, but Acne Free was just as good, less expensive (about $17?) and I didn't to sign up for a monthly membership or anything. How much would a dermatologist appointment cost out of pocket who doesn't have insurance?
Depends on the doctor...you'll have to call %26amp; ask. They would charge you their full amount for an office visit since you dont have insurance %26amp; that rate varies from doctor to doctor.
$87.50
This is the best advise I can give, and I think it is well worth following. Skip the dermatologist, see an esthetician. I saw a dermatologist, I was there for about 5 minutes, she prescribed some non-sense creme for my face, and sent me home. I went to an esthetician, she looked at my skin under a huge magnifying glass, told me what type of skin I had, which products were best for my face, and after my facial I felt like a million bucks. I don't have the money for them either, but I go faithfully every 3 months, and it keeps my skin perfect! Plus I use the right products, not stuff you buy at a pharmacy store, spa quality products. You can always buy them cheaper online, don't forget! You don't have to buy them at the spa. Facials run from $60-80. But they are so worth it. I would rather pay them more than that then pay a $5 co-pay at a dermatologists office.
