well u should wear no makeup or prepare to wash it off the doctor will ask u questions about your life ru on any medications any allergies wat is ur reason for coming there ru on birth control ru pregnant then he or she will take an assessment or evaluation of your skin find out the best solution give u a prescription for topical and or oral antibiotics or possibly smthng else and or do a procedure such as light treatment or a peel of sorts. i hope that helps
