How much schooling do you need to become a dermatologist?

Im a senior graduating high school this year. I've been thinking about becomming a dermatologist. Im just not sure how long i'd have to go to school for it.How much schooling do you need to become a dermatologist?
The first response - 4, 4, 3 and 1 is correct. The clinical year may come before the three year derm residency.

Don't let the 12 years scare you off. The last four will be more like having a job and being a doctor. You are a ';doctor'; after the four years of medical school. You have to work for four years for elligibility into the specialty group of dermatologists - and you work during that period - long hours and slave wages - but you are a doctor, going to work and getting paid - and when you come out the other end, you can make alot of money. How much schooling do you need to become a dermatologist?
4 years undergrad, 4 years med school, 3 years derm residency, 1 year clinical training
You need to have an undergrad degree, 4 years of medical school, and a residency.
